Here is a video that I made for my mom to show her what we have done so far in Cohan's room. Scott and I have worked to make his nursery perfect for what we wanted. A few more things need to be done... but here it is so far!

Getting Ready for Cohan

Scott and I finally decided on a name for our little man! He will be Cohan Schmidt Watson. Abby actually found the name. We just changed the spelling to make it Irish! It has been fun to talk about him and actually call him something besides Peanut or little man.

It is always a busy time of year, but at our house, it feels even busier! Scott has been painting and I have been...helping?! Getting ready has been fun. The room is painted now (just a few touch-ups need to be done). Here are pictures of the room and my belly at about 27 weeks. More picutres to come after the holidays.

It's a BOY!!!

We are so excited to say that we FINALLY know we are having a little boy. Scott was right and I was REALLY wrong. Everytime someone asked, I would have sworn it was a girl. We are really excited to be having a boy, because that is what we secrectly (Scott...not so secretly) wanted.

It was so fun to see the pictures of him in my tummy move around. He is healthy and doing great. As soon as I figure out how to scan in the pictures of our little man, I will.

No names have been chosen yet, but each day we think of more. Any ideas?

I am now figuring out how to add pictures. I will send this to everyone. Please share with any family and friends that I may have missed. This is not a great picture, but it was my little bump at 12 weeks.

We find out in 2 weeks if we are having a boy or a girl and we can't wait! We will be sure to post lots of pictures once we know!

Welcome to Our Blog

We have decided to create this blog for all our family and friends. Scott and I thought this would be a great way to share pictures, stories and events in our growing families' life. We will find out if our new addition is a boy or girl on October 26th. We can't wait. The official due date is March 12th (the day after Heidi's birthday). We would love a St. Patrick's Day baby, but know that by that time, we will be ready for the baby to be here already! We have started to clear out the room the baby will have, but it is a slow process. Mom and baby are feeling great and so far it has been a pretty easy pregnancy! Pictures will come as soon as I figure this whole blog thing out!
