Testing Out New Sleds

We had our first snow of the season.  Santa had brought both Cohan and Ireland their own sleds this year and Uncle Pooh and Aunt Meagan got them a double sled.  We have quite the hill in our backyards and they waited (not so patiently) for there to be enough snow to sled.  They used their new shovels in the mean time (thanks, GramMo!)...

Then, they were ready.  No fear.  They just kept sledding.  The hill is pretty steep and Scott and I took turns catching kids at the bottom so they didn't hit the fence.  If I could have bottled up the squeals and laughter, I would have.  They LOVED it!  

Nanny and Papa H got me a video camera for Christmas.  It is one of my favorite gifts.  I am not very good at it yet, but love capturing these moments to show the kids later.

After lots of sledding both Saturday and Sunday, Scott and I turned our fireplace on for the first time and enjoyed the warm house.

New Year's Eve

We had an AWESOME New Year's Eve...at home.  

I wouldn't have changed it for the world.  Comfy clothes, no makeup, home cooked meal and snuggles on the couch.  We celebrated when the ball in New York City...

Bucko &Grandma Chris Come to Celebrate

Our last Christmas celebration was the day after Christmas.  My dad and step-mom came.  The kids were SO EXCITED for them to visit and of course open gifts!  We were excited to have them come, relax, cook and drink together.  We did just that!

For one of the kids presents, Grandma Chris put them on a scavenger hunt around the house.  They LOVED it.  We need to do things like this more often!

Watson Family Christmas

Every year, the Watson Family Christmas gets bigger and more fun!  This year, we had a new baby... QUINN!!!  Jack, Meagan and Quinn came late since they were coming from St. Louis, but the rest of us got over to Nanny and Papa H's house around 2:00 Christmas Day.  It was nice to sit around, drink and visit while the kids played and before presents were opened!

These five little people have gotten so close and play so well together now.  The older they get, the easier it gets.  Nanny and Papa H sure know how to spoil these kiddos... 

Of course, as soon as Quinn arrives, Ireland is right there to hold her.  

During dinner, the kids watched National Lampoon's Christmas.  They all LOVE it!!  

One tradition Nanny and Papa H have is to get the kids matching pajamas and take their pictures.  I seriously can't believe how big these kids are getting!!  

We are so very lucky to have such an amazing family here in Columbia.  Thanks Nanny and Papa H for making it such a great Christmas!!
