Cohan's TV Time

Cohan does not get to watch TV very often. We noticed lately that he is very interested in it. His godparents got him DVDs called "Baby Faith." Each DVD has a short religious video in primary colors with puppets, singing, cartoons and a story. I thought he was ready to watch the video and then I could get some things done around the house. It turned out that his half hour of televison time was me watching and laughing at how excited he got!! It was like he was "talking" to the television. He never stopped watching and was so sad when it was over.

Visit from Allie and Dominick

One of my very good friends from college, Allie, and her son, Dominick, came to see Cohan and I for the day. Cohan loved having Dom here and I was excited to catch up with Allie!

Lots of Firsts...

It has been so fun to see all the changes that have happened with Cohan lately. Now that he is holding his head up, laughing, (baby)talking and has his own personality he makes each day interesting and new to Scott and I.

Here are a few things that he has done lately that are new to us!

He no longer fits in the little tub, so he has been enjoying baths in his blow up duck. It even quacks. He now kicks and splashes and enjoys bathtime...
He also has started to try and mimic what we do. This video makes us laugh...

Cohan can also sit in a shopping cart now (with a little assistance from a blanket). This makes running errands easier and more fun for him!!

The biggest first was Cohan starting rice cereal. It has taken lots of practice, but he is starting to get the hang of it...

Cohan has really loved his jumperoo. It has a mat under it so everytime he moves his feet or bounces on it, a new instrument with music goes off...

Time in Wichita

Cohan and I went to Wichita to visit my sister, Abby. My mom and nephew, Tayler, joined us. It was our first time to drive int he car for longer than 3 hours with Cohan. Thank goodness my mom was there to help!! After several stops and breaks for Cohan, we made it. We had a great time. We went to the zoo, visited museums, swam and spent lots of time with GranMo, Abby and Cohan. Thanks for a great time!!
Here are a few of our favorites from the vacation!!
