Big Helper

Scott mowed the yard the other day and started to sweep the drive. Cohan threw a fit because he wanted to push the broom. He is a great helper. My favorite picture is the one where Scott is in the background just watching... foreshadowing of Cohan's future? In the last picture, he is waving to cars and neighbors driving by that waved to him.

When my mom came to visit, she let Cohan help her pull her car into our driveway. So then, every day, he walked up to her car (we call it the Blue Bomber) wanting to "drive." So, of course, each day, she sat with him in the Blue Bomber letting him pretend. He LOVED it!

Tumble Bee Gymnastics

Cohan started Tumble Bee Gymnastics with Tumble Bee Bob! He goes during the day with Alison and Makenna. He loved it. The only two things that he was not so sure about were the big ball and ladder. He loved playing with Makenna. He gets to work on his motor skills. I loved seeing the pictures Alison took for us!

Easter Morning

Easter baskets were not that big of a deal the year for Cohan. He was having a morning snack, when we gave him an empty monkey basket. He began looking for his eggs. Once he saw the golf clubs though, he could have cared less about anything else. He LOVED them.

Two funny videos. One of Cohan and his golf clubs and the other is opening Easter eggs to find his favorite snacks.

After the morning, we all headed to church.

First Haircut!!

We decided Cohan probably didn't like the hair in his eyes anymore. Here are some before pictures...

He did not even mind. I bribed him with Mum Mums. Here are a few during his

FIRST HAIRCUT!!!!

Hospital Stay

We had an unexpected hospital stay this week. I had been having some bad stomach aches since Thursday. I let it go, thinking it was something silly. Finally Sunday night I told Scott I was going to go to Urgent Care. He told me it was closed and I would have to go to the ER. I said I would wait. My students were taking the MAP test. So, after MAP testing on Monday, I told my student teacher that I was running to Urgent Care and would hopefully be back before the day was over. Boy was I wrong.

From Urgent Care, the pain only got worse. They told me it looked my appendix was going to come out. They gave me pain medication, made me call Scott to drive me and sent me for CAT scans. After CAT scans I was sent to the hospital. From there I was admitted. It was a LONG day to say the least. Thank God Cohan was with Alison and the Ramsey family. They took him to Chuck E. Cheese and he LOVED it.

I ended up staying in the hospital for 2 nights. Our families and friends really came together to make this time easier for us. My mom came to help, we had food delivered and people constantly calling to check on me. I went back to work Monday, still a little sore and tired, but ready to get back into a routine.

Here are a couple of my favorite pictures from my favorite visitors. He loved looking out the window at the views!

1st Mizzou Football Game

We took Cohan to his first Mizzou Football game. It was the Black and Gold game. We met our friends Angela and Chris Gilbert and their son, Mason. Both the boys loved it.

Yeah, He Did That...

I went to the refrigerator to make Cohan a cup of milk. Literally out of his sight maybe 2 minutes total. Here is what I came back to.

Tons of Trucks and Mizzou Vet Open House

Columbia offered two really cool events that we took Cohan to last week.

The first event was called Tons of Trucks. There was every single type of truck you could imagine. Kids were able to go inside them, honk the horns (sort of scared Cohan at first with all the horns honking), and pretend to drive them. He really loved it!

The next event was at Mizzou. The Veterinary School had an Open House. There were tons of animals, big and small. Kids were able to pet them and learn about them. We got to take Avery with us and she and Cohan LOVED it. They weren't so sure about the farm animals, but they really loved the dogs!
