January Came and Went...

Where did January go?  Where did my motivation to blog go? Where is my camera?  Much to the dismay of some family members, it seems I haven't updated this space lately.  I went to empty the photos off the camera and realized it hasn't moved and there are no pictures on it.  Yikes!

So, here are the photos from my phone from January...

We have played with lots of Christmas toys.
This fun stuff is crazy sand and they loved it...
Avery, Mack and Lincoln got Cohan a paper airplane kit.
He's loved making planes...
The kids love to try and bite their ears and grab their elbows.
Dinnertime fun...
Scott redid the flooring and toilet in our master bathroom.  While we were shopping for a new toilet, Ireland saw a princess seat.  She threw a fit to get it.  Long story short... this $13 seat motivated her to be potty trained!!!
A farting app can makes kids laugh so hard they cry...
These two (three) play so well together.  Melt.  My. Heart.
Update: Ireland is still obsessed with taking care of babies.  Please note the naked babies (she had just given them a bath...obviously) and pillows for each of them.
GramMo came!!!
The kids were so excited and stood in the window to watch. I am embarrassed to say I have no other pictures from that weekend.  But, we had a great time and I am ready for my mama to come back!!!
She did take the kids out to breakfast so Scott could go help his parents with something and I could meet friends for morning coffee.  They had a great time...
The last step in Ireland's potty training was pooping in the potty.  We bribed her with Orange Leaf.  She finally did it while my mom was here.  She wanted everyone to go to Orange Leaf.  Uncle Pooh and Aunt Meagan came and we all went 20 minutes later to celebrate!!!  Now, I am happy to say that she is 100% trained!!!  No pull-ups, no accidents in a few weeks and NO DIAPERS!!!
Ireland's hair is growing, so that's a plus.  Only downside?
This is how it looks in the morning...
I might not have blogged, but I sure have snuggled these two sweet babies.  Time is flying.  I just filled out kindergarten registrations for Cohan and preschool papers for Ireland.  I keep telling Scott we need one more baby since ours aren't babies anymore...
Scott got sick with strep in January.
He never gets sick, and the kids were really excited when he was better!
Scott also went out of town for work.  Every time he travels for work, the kids know it's spaghetti night!  Scott doesn't care for pasta very much and really dislikes spaghetti.
The kids LOVE spaghetti nights!!!
Cohan had pajama days at school.  They made tents and "camped out" during nap.  He loved it and I loved the pictures his teacher sent me.  And doesn't he look really small?!
We spent a morning running errands and this included Barnes and Noble.  Obviously, you can't go to Barnes and Noble without a carousel ride...
Ireland is super excited that, after a long holiday break, ballet classes have started again...
And this little man's sweet obsession with Ninja Turtles hasn't died down.  He even sleeps with the Ninja Turtle pillow backpack...
Happy January.
I'll do better on blogging!

New Year's Eve and Our Break

Tomorrow it is back to reality.  Back to work, back to school, back to waking up early.  This house is not quite ready for that.  But man, we've sure enjoyed our time off.

The kids have had friends over, then not napped...
Riggs has gotten extra snuggles...
LOTS of Lego's have been built...
We've played dress up in new clothes...
Big kid hair cuts have happened...
Ireland has gotten more curls...
We also enjoyed New Year's Eve with lots of friends!
Ireland stayed awake until 11:30 and Cohan made it until 12:30!!
We have slept in... like, a lot...
And last night, our kids had a sitter and we enjoyed a night out with friends...
Happy New Year everyone!!  XXOO
