Ireland's Dance Recital

Ireland LOVES dance class every Monday.  She does tap, ballet and baton.  In fact, when asked what her favorite part of dance is, she always says shaking my booty on that pole.  We have to be quick to correct that the "pole" is actually the baton.  We are going to have our hands full with this one...

She has her Christmas recital and did well, but this recital was complete with a very glittery costume and she couldn't have been more excited.  

Before we left for dinner I asked her to pose.  This is what I got...

Much Needed Lake Weekend

First... big news...

Our Riggs turned 10 last week.  She is the best dog and is so good with the kids.  

We love her so much!!!

Friday night, after a soccer game and pizza with cousins, we decided to head to the lake.  It was only supposed to rain for part of the weekend, so we thought, before all the moving chaos happens, maybe we could get in a couple boat rides.  We did just that!!!  

The morning boat ride was a little chilly Saturday...

But, by the afternoon, the sun was out and so were we!  

We did hit one little rain shower...

But the sun came right back!  

We can't wait for this busy moving stuff to be over so we can enjoy summer at the lake again.

In other news... much to Cohan's dismay, we took the training wheels off his bike.

He hated it, but Ireland is ready...

Bring on summer!!!!
