Down by the River...

My kids had been asking and begging Bucko and Grandma Chris to come to Columbia and take them camping.  A couple weeks ago (yes, late on the blogging again), they did just that.  You know that Chris Farley Saturday Night Live skit where he is a motivational speaker and he talks about Down by the River??  Well, they stayed in the camper down by the river and couldn't have had more fun!!
It was a surprise for the kids.  They had no idea...
The kids were more than excited to be camping, cook on the fire and they loved having lots of room to run.  Cohan had just learned to ride his bike, so he loves all the space.
They loved s'mores!!!
But, really, they just liked making them.  Grandma Chris ended up eating them.  :)
They loved playing in the dark!
Best part for us??  They spent two nights there!!
Ireland was excited to take some pictures...
Bedtime was a little wild they said, but by night #2, they had it down.
They went on long walks each day...
which wore the kids OUT!!!
And, just because it's funny.... Here is the impressions of "Down by the River."
So much fun was had by all.  Scott and I got two nights without kids and even got a date night.  The kids were worn out, and can't wait until their next camping adventure.
Thanks Bucko and Grandma Chris!!!

Quinn Caroline Arrives!!

On August 31st, Quinn Caroline Watson made her debut into the world!!She is absolutely perfect in every way.  We were so excited to wake our kids up Monday morning to tell them.  They didn't want to go to school that day.  After school, we headed to the hospital.  We all fell in love immediately.
We are so excited for her arrival and can't get enough of that sweet baby!!

Ireland starts dance... again

Ireland was more than excited to start dance again this year.  She is finally old enough to take classes at a new company, CPAC, and she couldn't have been more excited.  She had lots of friends in her class, including Sofia, who was doing dance for the first time.
Lots of friends in class...
At the new place, I love that the waiting room is huge and I get to visit with my friends while watching Ireland dance on a TV.
I love watching my tiny dancer do something she loves.
