GramMo Visits!

A darn ice storm kept us in town two weeks ago when we were supposed to head to Illinois to celebrate Christmas.  The day after Christmas, GramMo came to celebrate and visit.  The kids and I were beyond excited!  

Ireland loved all her new American Girl clothes, especially the ones she has where they match.

Cohan loved showing GramMo how to play his new video games! 

Scott spent some time putting together a Barbie Dream House Ireland got from Nanny and Papa H...

But, Mom and I spent twice that long putting this beast together.  By ourselves!

Christmas Day

I remember Christmas morning as a kid.  There is some sort of magic to it.  We try to create that same experience for our kids.  The kids were so excited to get up and see what Santa brought them.  Cohan asked for a PlayStation, games and Anki OverDrive.  Ireland asked for a new American Girl doll, a pink guitar and a new scooter.  They were pretty happy...

That afternoon, we headed to Nanny and Papa H's house to celebrate with the Watson family.  

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas.  We know we did.  We feel super blessed to have spent it together and with family.
