March Birthday and St. Patrick's Day Celebrations

March was a big deal for Ireland.  This is a day she was REALLY looking forward to and we were dreading... KINDERGARTEN registration.  Of course, she rocked it and can't wait to start. Just filling out the paperwork made me sad.
March is always a fun month.  This birthday was fun because my sister, Abby, surprised me in Springfield!  It was the BEST!!!
We spent my birthday celebrating St. Patrick's Day!
Cohan and Ireland's teachers sent lots of cute pictures to me of them on St. Patrick's Day!

On the actual St. Patrick's Day Cohan joined some teachers for part of happy hour.  We also had a babysitter with the Quinteros.  Jack and Meagan were over and decided to join us!  We were all feeling it the next morning!

I also got to have breakfast in Cohan's classroom.  It was fun visiting with him and his friends and reading his notebooks.

Cohan's 7th Birthday Celebrations

I can't even tell you how crazy it is to say we have a 7 year old.  Seven years we've been doing this parenting thing and still I feel like a rookie.  Our kids make us so darn proud.  This little boy is the one who made us parents, the one who tests our patience daily, who loves hard, has a huge tender heart and is smarter than I could have prayed for.  We love him with all our heart.
The weekend before playing his birthday, Bucko and Grandma Chris came in town to celebrate and bought him a new big bike he wanted!

Somehow he talked us into letting him open a couple gifts the night before his birthday...

He loved having ice cream sandwiches on his birthday with his class to celebrate...
Cohan loved coming home and opening presents.

That Friday, GramMo arrived and we were excited to celebrate Cohan at his soccer birthday party!

Soon it was party time!!

Cohan's sweet teacher surprised him at his party and made a book for him of his first grade year.  We are so blessed to have gotten her as a teacher.  She has been AMAZING for him and her coming to his party was just another example.

Happiest of Birthdays to our (not so little) guy.  We love you more than you'll ever know.
