New Obsession

There are a few things that Cohan really loves. Some kids love the the blanket they sleep with, or pacifiers, or a teddy bear. Not Cohan. He sort of gets obsessed with really weird things.

For awhile, it was a tube of bubbles. He never opened them, nor knew there were bubbles in this tube. He just carried the tube around the house banging on things. Then, he found an attachment to our vacuum. He would not let it go. It went in the car with us, the bath tub, naps, you name it, and it was there. Now all these toys sit in the basket.

His newest obsession is a bubble push mower. The bubbles ran out after about a half hour and we haven't refilled them and he hasn't seemed to mind. This mower is now an inside and outside toy. We take it everywhere we go. It sits next to him at dinner, and he has big time meltdowns when he has to take a bath and it can't go in there too. Here are a few of my favorites of Cohan with his new obsession.

Times are a Changing

There are lots of changes happening around our house. Today, our house went on the market. We have done a lot of work and are very ready for this!

The biggest change happened about 3 weeks ago though. Scott and I packed all Cohan's bottles away and restocked with new sippy cups. We were pretty proud that he was off the bottle only a couple days after his first birthday. He is getting so big!! Now if only we could get rid of the pacifier!

Part of Spring Break in Springfield

Cohan and I went to Springfield to visit my family for the first part of Spring Break. He loved spending time with family and friends.

One afternoon, my sister-in-law, Sarah and I took the boys to the museum. Tayler loved pushing Cohan throughout the museum. Even when Cohan walked, he followed Tayler everywhere he went. It was adorable!!

There was a kids section of the museum that both boys loved.

Another day, my Uncle Jerry called to see if Cohan wanted to ride the merry-go-round at the mall. He loved it!

Spring has Sprung

We went to the park. This was the first time that Cohan really got to enjoy the park. As you can tell from the pictures, he loved every minute of it!

St. Patrick's Day Parade in Illinois

Cohan, Scott and I went home to visit my family for the St. Patrick's Day parade. This was Cohan's first parade day. He loved watching everyone and LOVED watching people in the parade!

Football Birthday Party

Cohan had a football themed birthday party. It was so fun to plan. We loved getting all our friends and their kids together. I still can't believe that my baby is one!!!

Cohan had lots of presents, but really wanted all the toys out of the boxes NOW!!!
