Ireland and Cohan are really into dressing up and picking out their own clothes lately. There are some battles that we are just not going to fight...
I walked in to the living room last week and heard my mom's voice. The kids know how to Skype her on their own. I love that!
We had some really beautiful weather two weekends ago. We spent A LOT of time outside!
Cohan and I went for haircuts before a night with friends.
And then we began to prepare for Easter. We decorated the house with crafts from previous years, got treats ready for Cohan's school Easter party and even made sweet treats for our "Eggs-ellent" neighbors.
Scott left very early Monday morning for a work trip to San Diego. The kids and I were on our own for the week. We loved it! Uncle Pooh took Cohan to school every morning and he loved that! Alison ended up getting pneumonia, so Betsy stayed home with Ireland and Sofia for a couple of days. I am not sure who liked it more, Betsy, Ireland , Sofia or me. I loved the pictures I got each day. These two truly are best friends. I love that my kids love my best friend just as much as I do. I'm so lucky to have her!
Wednesday was T-Ball for Cohan. The first two practices went pretty terribly. He was shy and didn't want to try anything. He clung to our legs... totally NOT the Cohan we all know. This past Wednesday started a little rocky. But, by the end, he was running bases, throwing and even caught a ball hit into outfield.
We were MORE than ready for Scott to get home. Unfortunately, his first night home began with a trip to the ER for Ireland. All is good and Ireland is back to normal.
The time is flying by lately...
