We've done it! We are completely moved. I couldn't be happier that this event is over. We stressed about a lot during this move, so now as I sit at my kitchen island and type this, there a huge weight off our chests. God really does have a plan. The house we found is perfect for us, way bigger than our old house, in a new subdivision with lots of kids and nicer than we are used to. :)
Scott and I were more than ready to move. Cohan, on the other hand, not so much. He didn't want someone else living in "our house". He didn't want to leave our neighbors, he didn't want to leave his backyard, he didn't want to leave his room. You name it, he didn't want to leave it. In spite of all this, he did start slowly helping pack. Ireland... well she helped unpack every single thing she could.

Not helping... |
When the moving trailer arrived, it got pretty real. Cohan worked his tail off helping Jack, Scott, Meagan and I load the trailer. At one point we all stopped for a drink, and he came in and told us, "You know we could be done if you all weren't in here jackin' around!" Another time we had taken a break for lunch (where he continued to work for a bit), he came in and asked us, "How come I'm the only one working here?!" He is so funny and growing so fast! I was happy he helped and stopped worrying about all the details of the move.
Our old house started to look pretty bare...
Our amazing neighbors stopped by with a birthday present for Ireland and Legos for Cohan. They kept them distracted and busy for quite awhile. Here is the picture of one of his builds he asked me to text to them to show. He was so proud.
Our last family picture in our old house. Bitter sweet.
At this point Cohan was super sad again about moving and didn't want to leave.
Ireland? Could care less. As long as her babies and shoes went to the new house, she didn't care.
Thursday evening, we picked up the kids and did our final walk-through at our old house together. I was a crying mess. The neighbors had stopped by, and I just was so sad. This house brought us so so so many good memories. So many firsts happened here. It was such a great first home for our family and there will be so many things I will miss about this house.

Then Cohan didn't want to leave...
408 Dustin Drive, you were a good house!
Friday was moving day into our new house!!! Friday evening everyone started arriving and helping. The boys kept bust digging in flower beds...
The men were carrying in lots of furniture...
My mom was busy cleaning...
The woman were unpacking the kitchen...
By Saturday, all the boxes were in and we started really unpacking and decorating. Cohan's room was purple. Really purple...
So Meagan started painting! She is the best. Even at six months pregnant, she's helped so much!
She even let Cohan help.
With my mom, dad and step-mom here staying with us, it was so nice for the kids. At any given point in the weekend, most people were working, but someone was stopping to play with the kids. My mom came to get me to tell me to take this picture. Grandma Chris and Cohan flying a kite in our new backyard.
Sunday morning, my dad and I sat on the patio before everyone woke up and visited. It was the first time I felt like I had really sat in weeks.
Sunday, after everyone but my mom had left, Matt and Betsy called and said they were coming to pick up my kids to take them fishing. Ireland was sleeping, but Cohan was more than ready. It was a perfect thing for him to do, and gave us time to get a few more things done before my mom left.
Now that we are done and moved in, we are enjoying summer!! Swimming, playing, ice cream, popsicles, play dates, picnics... you name it, we've done it. Here is to a new summer in our new home!!!
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that helped. We would still be moving without you all!!
