Quintero Christmas and Magic Tree Tradition

Since Ireland and Sofia's first Christmas season, we have exchange gifts, our two families have dinner and then we head to the Magic Tree.  Last year, the kids were baffled by the tree, the year before, they didn't really get it, but this year, they LOVED it!!  I love our friends that are like family.  These three kids are so close and treat each other like siblings.  I love looking back at the last three Christmas blogs where we've done this.  These babies are growing too quick!!
Such fun times!!

Christmas in Springfield at GramMo's House

Friday, right after work, we loaded the car and headed to Springfield to celebrate Christmas with GramMo and my brother's family.  My dad is coming the day after Christmas, so this trip was all about GramMo.  The kids were BEYOND excited.  It had been a long time since we had visited.
Right when we got there, Cohan let GramMo know that he had a special surprise for her.  He had made her a pinch pot in art class complete with a book, homemade wrapping paper and an awesome painted pot.  (I was a little jealous.)
Then we headed to the park for a horse and carriage ride.  It was cold, but so fun!
Saturday morning, the kids stayed in PJs for little while, while I met some friends for breakfast.
Ireland, my mom and I headed to get manicures and pedicures.  This was Ireland's first time and she did AWESOME and loved it!!  I let her pick my colors.  We have matching red toes and she has yellow (her favorite color) finger nails.
Saturday night, we celebrated Christmas.  The kids were beyond excited to give and receive gifts.  But first, picture time...
Present time!!
We Facetimed with Abby and Dujuan so they could watch the kids open their gifts.  Ireland and I loved all our clothes from Paris.
For the past two years, Cohan and Ireland go to this special little charity shop where they make a list and get to shop on their own for people.  I grew up going and so did my nephew.  This year, everyone got some pretty awesome gifts...
We had such a fun night!!!
Sunday morning was spent playing with lots of toys before we left.
As soon as we got home and started unpacking, this little lady changed her American Girl Doll (a.k.a. Rose --previously Angela and Sophia) about a million times. She is ready for nice weather to attach her bike carrier for her doll to ride in.
Thank you GramMo for such a fun weekend!!!
Merry Christmas!!!!
We love you and hope you have lots of fun in the sun in Florida!!!
