Pumpkin Patch

This fall weather hasn't exactly felt like fall weather.  It has been WARM.  Our annual trip to the pumpkin patch was no different.  It was a warm, but gorgeous day at Loyd's Pumpkin Patch.

Happy Fall Ya'll!!

Date Nights

Ireland and Cohan have both separately been working on personal goal setting.  They have some behavior goals to work on, and if they reach them, they think of something fun they'd like to do as a reward.  We have been doing this inconsistently for awhile, but this time they chose a date night as a reward.  Cohan wanted one with me and Ireland wanted one with Daddy.  Scott and I desperately hoped they each reached their goals.  We were so excited to spend time with them individually.

They were pretty excited too!
Ireland chose a Mexican restaurant and Smoothie King for dessert.
Cohan chose our favorite Mexican restaurant, Las Margaritas.  He loves the strawberry daiquiris!  I love the margaritas.  We enjoyed a nice visit at the bar before we were seated.  :)
I just don't want them to grow up.
I want them to be this innocent and sweet forever.

Fall is in the Air

I love every season for a different reason.  Spring brings awesome weather, flowers and the promise of summer. Summer is pool and family time.  Fall though?  It might be my favorite.  The smells, traditions and promise of snow and snugly nights inside to look forward to.

Fall is in the air at our house...

We've loved s'mores and nights outside by the fire watching football with friends....
We've enjoyed church fall festivals...
Soccer Saturdays are the best!!
We also loved the neighborhood fall block party complete with a bounce house, hayrides, dinner, s'mores and a movie!
We love fall!!

Our Free Spirit

Ireland is our little free spirit.  She is the most kind and caring little girl in the world.  She makes those around her laugh, is quick witted, has a strong opinion about her clothes and challenges us daily.  We wouldn't change a thing (except maybe her opinion on clothes... in the morning).

My mom always says I deserve a little girl that is identical to me.  Scott always asks me how it feels to raise myself.  I laugh, and cringe.  She is full of spunk and sass and I can't even believe she will be in kindergarten next year.
Picture day!  We agreed on an entire outfit!!  Great day for both of us.
I love that she and Lincoln play on the same team together.  While their older siblings have games, these two get to play.  They are two peas in a pod.
This little lady is growing so fast.  I want to bottle this age and show her how confident, strong and determined she is right now.  We love you, Ireland Noreen.
