Pre-Halloween Celebrations

Before Halloween, we had lots of fun things planned.
I went to a witch's night out with a bunch of friends...
Ireland got to wear her costume to dance the Thursday before.  We also got to sit in class for the last 15 minutes.  She was VERY excited.
On Friday, Cohan had his Fall class party.  A coworker came to watch my students during their party so I could be a mom to him for a couple minutes during his party.
Scott and I had a costume party the day before Halloween.  We had SO MUCH fun!!
Scott and I were Popeye and Olive Oyl.
Saturday morning, the kids were READY for Trick-or-Treating and having her cousins over for Halloween.

Farm Party, Super Hero Party and Cowgirl Party all in a day

Last Sunday (see, I am ALMOST caught up!), the kids had three different birthday parties.  It just so happened they were spread out enough that we were able to make it to each one.

The first party was for Ireland's friends, Margaret and Matilda.  They had a farm party at their farm.  I love watching Ireland interact with all her friends.

The next party was for Parker, Cohan's friend at school (his mom is the music teacher).  He had a super hero party.  I didn't get a picture of Cohan because he was busy playing with all his friends.  Ireland enjoyed this party too!
The last party of the day was next door.  Reese turned four.  She had a cowgirl party complete with another horse.  Of course my kids wore their superhero capes from their last party...
What a busy day!!1

Herman for Octoberfest

Every year, Scott and I go to Herman, Missouri to Oktoberfest with my dad and step-mom.  We have been going since I was pregnant with Cohan.  We look forward to it each year and love the kids free weekend with my dad and Chris.  This year, my bonus sister, Missy, and her hubby joined us.  So much fun!!

This is the cutest couple in the world.  Each year, we go to the Hermanhof building to watch them Polka.
Thanks Dad and Chris for another awesome winery trip!

GramMo Visits, Homecoming and the Pumpkin Patch

Friday night (a couple weeks ago), GramMo came!!
We were excited she came for a busy weekend.  We started our Saturday morning with the Mizzou Homecoming parade...
GramMo couldn't wait to get her hands on baby Quinn.  We were excited we got to experience her first parade with her!
Cousin Megan was in the parade!
After a quick lunch, we headed to the pumpkin patch.  It was perfect weather!
Lots of pumpkins!!
After a trip home and some quiet time, we took Cohan to get a new bike.  Since he had learned to ride, he outgrew his bike.  He is usually out riding nightly, so he needed a new one.
Thanks GramMo for such a fun visit!
