Today was another snow. Tomorrow is one too. Thank goodness we had activities and visitors to help pass the time. Snow days make me realize how much we are out and about. Being stuck in the house is NOT our thing. This is part of what my living room looked like before 8:00 am. But, I will say, they were having a good time and that's what mattered.
Cohan woke up and got very excited to paint all the snow. Even though he was still in his PJs, I let him stand on the front porch and 'paint.'
PLEASE NOTE: HE PICKED OUT AND PUT ON HIS OWN SHOES.
Then Uncle Pooh (who also had a snow day) came over to shovel our drive. Cohan went out to play with him. I used this time to feed Ireland lunch, make Cohan's lunch and clean up a bit!
When Scott got home, Jack came back over to play outside. The boys had a goal of building a snow man. They also built a fort and tossed our balloons we made last night (that never froze). Cohan, of course, painted it all.
Tomorrow we have play dates planned, errands to run and Cohan's birthday party to prepare for.
I have Lightning McQueen on my brain...
