My parents always used to tell me one of their favorite things to do was watch us play sports or participate in activities. I thought they were crazy. Who would want to sit and watch someone else all the time? Who would want to run their kids around like a taxi driver? Crazy they were not. I LOVE IT! Our nights have changed quite a bit lately. But, I wouldn't change it for the world. My kids are loving it, asking for more and growing right in front of us.
Last Monday, we had dance at 4:30 and t-ball at 5:45. Tuesday was our night off. Wednesday we had soccer and Thursday it was back to t-ball. Busy, but so fun. Watching these two do these things they truly love is so fun. We also like that we get to see our friends and family at each event since our kids have family or friends on each team or activity. I've asked Cohan if it's too much for him doing soccer and t-ball, but he loves them both. T-ball is almost over, but he's loved his second season.

Thumbs up, Mom |
Ireland is back at dance. We signed her up for the whole "season" of dance. This is from September until May with two recitals somewhere in between. We pick her up at Alison's house and she gets ready there. Sofia wanted a "ballerina bun" like Ireland.
And then there's Cohan's newest sport, soccer. He loves it. I think he likes it more than other sports because he has his two cousins on the team with him. He also has two friends from his school on his team and one friend from t-ball. He scored a goal his first game!! Go Team Brazil!!
The game time time is one hour. Each event is one hour. They have a half hour practice and then half hour game. It is 3 on 3 with no goalie, teaching them the fundamentals of soccer. He has already learned so much!!

To celebrate his goal, we headed to Orange Leaf...
My Mom and Dad were right, watching my kids do things they love is the best thing!
