It was a BUSY May

At the end of April, we celebrated Ireland's best friend, Sofia's, birthday.  They are one month to the day apart.  I am so lucky that my best friend has a best friend for Ireland.
We also celebrated lots of firsts with opening a brand new school.  One of those was the BEU Circus.  Ireland and Cohan had a great time!!
Another fun first was the Beulah Ralph Fun Run.  We were lucky enough to have GramMo in town for it!  The kids had a blast, ran, walked, took pictures, had Kona Ice and danced.

Cohan LOVED field day at Beulah and I was lucky enough to sneak away to stay with him for a bit!
We also have played LOTS of sports lately.  Baseball and soccer seemed to have taken over our already busy schedules.

Scott and I had a great time at a Derby Party Fundraiser.  Thanks GramMo for watching the kids!

The kids LOVED painting pottery at Hattie's birthday party!
We enjoyed a fun end of the year breakfast with Cohan in his classroom.
We are so super duper proud of the growth he's made this year.
We also had to come to terms with the fact that this little beauty would be turning 5 at the end of the month!

Big news for Ireland, she learned to tie her shoes in 20 minutes!  She asked for a new pair of shoes with "real ties" on them.  We bought them and told her she had to learn before kindergarten.  She was one determined little girl!!

Our summer garden pickers have already started.
They've eaten about 8-9 dozen strawberries so far!

And just because it is hilarious... we had bad storms one night.  Both kids ended up in our bed.  This is how we found them the next morning!
