Surprising Abby

To say I miss my sister, Abby, is an understatement.  We usually talk several times a day.  I hadn't seen her since last July.  Her fiance, Dujuan, knew how much we missed each other.  He called Scott a couple weeks ago asking if he could fly me out to surprise Abby for her birthday.  After Dujuan and I talked, the plan was set.  It was the best surprise I've even been part of.

I arrived Friday morning in Seattle.  Dujuan and I got to spend the whole day together while Abby worked and had no idea I was in town.  We went to breakfast, went shopping for her surprise party, shopped for a birthday gift and decorated their amazing apartment.
Then, we sat and waited... and drank.  :)
To say Abby was surprised was an understatement.  She was bawling like a baby.  I was so excited to spend the weekend with her.  She was excited about the cupcakes and pictures Ireland had colored for her.
That night, we went to Purple for dinner with a bunch of her friends.
They had great wine and food.
The next morning we had mimosas on her roof top and then went to an amazing brunch with a build your own Bloody Mary bar.  We were excited.  We spent the rest of the day walking the city and enjoying it.  We went on our underground tour of Seattle and spent time just sitting at bars people watching and visiting.  It.  Was.  Perfect.

Thanks Abby and Dujuan for such a fun weekend.
Now, I get to see Abby in two days... at the beach!!  So excited.
