Sunday morning, we headed over to my brother's house to celebrate Christmas with my dad, step-mom, and sister, Clara. Aunt Clara and Kat had toys waiting for them to play with. While we all visited, drank and ate, the kids had an awesome time playing.
Cohan, Ireland and Tayler loved opening gifts. What I loved the most, was that as soon as gift opening was done (same thing happened at my mom's house) they left it all and went to play together.
My brother sets up a train under his tree each year. Cohan loved it last year, and this year, he was excited to show his sister.
After dressing the kids in their PJs, we let them play a little longer, then headed back to Columbia. Both kids slept the entire way!

Even though I didn't get to see my family on Christmas, I was reminded that Christmas is just a day. The special time of spending Christmas with those that you love still happened while in Springfield, just on another day!!
We am so lucky to have my family.
