It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

I love our house during this season.  There are so many memories and traditions.  The kids love looking at past Christmas cards and pictures from visits to Santa.  They can't believe they used to be so little.  We, on the other hand, can't believe how big they are now.  

The kids also love decorating their own trees.  They both have a little tree in their room.  On it are all ornaments they've been given.  They love to ask about the details of each ornament and I love reminiscing with them.

And then, of course, there are lots of other favorites too!!

Toots, our elf, came back.  He's been with us for a couple years now.  The kids had been asking about him and were so excited when he showed up with a letter and books!  He's been up to no good, but did bring 25 books for the kids.  They get so excited to unwrap a "new" book each day as a way to count down to Christmas.  They talk to him, read to him and tell him things they want on their ever growing Christmas list.
