It's Going Down, We're Yelling Timber!!

There are so many traditions we have around our house for the holiday season.  One of our favorites though, is cutting down our own Christmas tree.  We've gone when it's been super cold, been when it's been pretty warm and everything in between.  We've done this for years and every year, we've gone to Starr Pines Tree Farm.  This year however, we tried a new place, Timber View, and weren't disappointed. Jack's friend's family owns the tree farm, so we tried it.

We had been home from Springfield for 10 minutes, before we unpacked the car and loaded back up to head out.  It was a beautiful day and the next day was supposed to be COLD.  It felt great to have sun shining on us while searching for the perfect tree!  Jack and Meagan joined us.
Yup, we were those people!
Once we were home (without the tree falling off the roof of the car I might add), Cohan was a big help getting the tree all opened up.
Our finished tree...
I love this time of year!!
