4th of July is a time for cook-outs, fireworks, and time with friends and family. That's exactly what our long weekend was. On Thursday night, Cohan and I headed to the lake with Jane. Within 10 minutes, this is what the living room looked like...
Cohan LOVES his Nanny. She spoils him rotten and loves it. We did Little Rizzo's Pizza for dinner Thursday night and this is how Cohan and Jane ate dinner.
Scott and I were sweeping the deck and hammering nails down. Cohan thought he should help.
Before the new baby pool was filled on the back deck, Cohan loved playing in it with the balls. He is all boy!
It was so HOT! Cohan loved eating Popsicles on the back patio to cool off.
On Saturday night, we invited some friends over for a shrimp boil. Cohan loved having friends to play with.
Sunday, Matt and Betsy left their place and came over for the day/night. We headed out on the boat during Cohan's nap. After nap, we headed back for dinner and put Cohan to bed. The four of us headed back out on the boat for a night ride to watch fireworks. Even though it POURED down rain, we still had a great time.
Monday morning, Cohan headed for his first boat ride. He wasn't so sure about the life jacket, but loved the ride. He kept pointing at boats, saying, "Look, boat!" "WOW!" He dozed in and out. I think the rocking and motor soothed him and made him pretty sleepy. He tried so hard to stay awake and watch everything.
One thing that Cohan loves to do, is use window markers. He made some awesome drawings on the windows. I still can't get him to stop trying to eat them. At least they're non-toxic!!
Monday, we headed home. We got Cohan some Pop-Its. He LOVED throwing them and stepping on them. He would giggle and stomp. So funny!!

We also lit some snakes. Cohan kept pointing and saying, "WOW!"

We had an awesome weekend. Happy 4th of July everyone!
