Time Flies

This week has been a lazy one for Cohan and I. I think that these lazy times are the parts of summer that I am going to miss the most when going back to work soon.

The week started off with a big scare. On Sunday, our niece Avery had a febrile seizure. This is something that can happen when little kiddos have spiked fevers. She is totally fine now (thank God), but really scared everyone. It made me hug my little boy a little tighter that night and thank God for our healthy niece and nephews. Times like this are when you says some extra prayers.

The rest of the week has been pretty normal. Swim lessons, Tumble Bees, swim lessons and hanging out. Cohan and I have spent a lot of time inside (except for Wednesday = play date with lots of friends and kids at a local water park) since it's been so hot.

When are are constantly go, go, go I forget to stop and look at my little boy and how fast he is growing up. There are so many things that he does that I think, "Wow, when did he learn that." Time has really flown by this summer. Makes me sad, but I'm so happy that I am a parent that gets to spend summers with my quickly growing little man.
