Staying Cool

We packed our bags and headed to the lake house again this weekend. It was supposed to be super hot, so it was a perfect weekend for the lake, boat rides. and the pool. The weekend was all about staying cool and relaxing. Cohan loved rocking in the chair and hanging out.

It was so hot; Cohan kept wanting to take his clothes off. I was a-ok with him running around in a diaper. There are lots of ways that Cohan stayed cool. #1 way to stay cool - Clothes off and sunscreen all weekend long.

#8 way to stay cool - Snack inside with Aunt Meagan and Uncle Jack.

#9 way to stay cool - Take cover from the sun.

#10 way to stay cool - Evening boat rides with friends.

When we headed back from the lake, we went right to family dinner at Angelo's. Mark and Beth were away for the night, so Hiram and Jane had Avery and Macklin. Cohan and Avery sat by each other for most of the dinner. Anything one of them did, the other mimicked. They are so lucky to have cousins so close in age.
