Each and every day, Cohan came to the hospital to visit. He loves Ireland so much. He always wants to touch her, hold her, kiss her and hug her. We would bribe him to change his diapers by saying Ireland would lay next to him. This is how that ended....
As I have mentioned before, my best friend, Betsy, had a little girl one month before (to the day) Ireland was born. It was very sweet to watch these two little girls, who will grow up together, lay next to each other for a picture. It looks like Sofia is trying to tell Ireland a secret.
Aunt Boo Boo (Betsy) and Aunt Abbey came to visit her.
The Ramsey family was so excited to get up and hold Ireland. Alison is so excited to be watching her along with Cohan next year. We are SO BLESSED that they love Cohan (and Ireland) so much and he loves them just as much!
My fifth grade team came to visit as well. Jill, Jen and Dan were all snuggles.
Thursday morning, I got a knock on the door. It was Uncle Mark. He stopped by to hold Ireland. He said he didn't get to when he came with his kids. This made my heart smile. Beth had done the same thing the day before. We are lucky our kids have such an awesome aunt and uncle!
By Thursday morning in the hospital, I was more than ready to get home. I wanted to be home with Cohan, enjoy my mom's help while she would be here and get back into the swing of things as a new family of four.
We got the OK from my doctor and Ireland's doctor. We were headed home!!!
