I have said it a million times. We have the best neighbors. They go on trips and bring the kids home gifts, they get them random things they think they'd like, stop by to say hi, come over and play with the kids, they make homemade ice cream and invite them over, and they share their love of animals with them.
Cohan first began his love of horses (really just GiGi) when we went to watch our neighbor, Heather, barrel race. Since then, every horse is GiGi. Ireland even says GiGi. Bob and Darla got Ireland a pink horse for her birthday and she's named GiGi. Heather surprised Cohan and Ireland and brought the horses by after racing them, before taking them to the farm. Cohan and I had just walked in the door from working out and grocery shopping. He could not have been more excited!!! Ireland liked to look from a distance, but didn't like to get close. Cohan was in love. He fed them treats and watched them eat apples.
GiGi, Tori and Sis...
Sis wasn't sure about the sour apple taste. She made a funny face and we saw her teeth.
Horse teeth are pretty funny!
Thanks Heather, for making Cohan's day!!! He is so ready to come ride her again. Even today, as he ate an apple, he asked if we could go take GiGi and her friends some treats.
