Cousin Time - FINALLY

I can't believe that summer is half over already. Cohan has not gotten to see his cousins, Avery and Macklin, that live in the same town, as much as we would like. They have been in Italy and we have been in Springfield quite a bit. Now that we are all around, it has been fun hanging out with them again.

Avery is six months older than Cohan and Mack is six months younger. He's lucky to have cousisn so close in age. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the last couple days. The middle one makes me laugh. It looks like they are deep in conversations.

Fun outside!!!

We went to a water park and they all enjoyed their picnic lunches!

O'Brien Family Reunion - Day 4 SUNDAY FUNDAY

Day 4 of the family reunion started with a family mass. The priest from Cathedral came out and did mass for us. It was a nice way to start the day with family. Two best parts?! It was only 24 minutes and the bar was right there after. Perfect day for Bloody Mary's.

Of course the bounce house was there again and Cohan climbed right in on his own this time! His cousins were there to help!!

The entire reunion, people could not stop telling me what a good eater he was. Now that he has mastered a fork and spoon, he really shovels it in! The boy will eat ANY fruit you put in front of him...

My family...

Cousins!!

Day 5 of the reunion was a trip to Six Flags. We opted out and headed back home. We had a great weekend. I feel so blessed to have such a big family.

O'Brien Family Reunion Day 2-3

DAY 2- We had a big dinner at Barrel Head. We had one entire side of the restaurant. It was crazy and loud and so fun. So sorry, no pictures from that!!

Day 3- We started on Saturday at 1 at the FOP Lodge at Lake Springfield. It was a little rainy in the morning and until about 3. Then the sun came out and it was perfect weather. Not too hot, not too cold!

Every year at reunions, we do family pictures. the first picture is my mom's generation, the next is my generation with their children. This is less than half of us that were able to make it this year! We have the BIG IRISH FAMILY!! Each of my grandma's siblings have a different color shirt they wear with the family crest. MeMo's family wears navy blue.

Here is everyone that made it this year! Small compared to most years!!

Our Little Family

The bounce house was a HUGE hit for the kids. Even the adults joined in the fun! Cohan and I loved it too!!! He was a little hesitant at first. Then we couldn't get him out!
